This is exactly what we need! LFG!
This all seems like a perfect way to keep the treasury assets safe while also allowing for the best efficiency for treasury capital. Well done Treasury Team!
Let's do it!
Remember, this is only the beginning : )
$5 cap per address, require a tweet to be eligible, pick randomly from those who tweeted after a 3-5 day period.
I'm personally not a big fan of the fact that they're supporting meme projects, but expanding OHM liquidity is still necessary for our growth. I'm in.
Sounds like a great opportunity for Olympus to help out and integrate with the wider Defi ecosystem, Well done!
Sad to see Option 2 isn't even on the snapshot. Would have voted for it. I do think that people could use this for things such as political beliefs, but a restriction that makes treasury ohm only available for donations to help launch new DApps across the broader crypto community would be nice, rather than blanket banning the whole protocol from any charity at all for eternity.
I can understand people not wanting to donate to charities, but to support new open-source projects and grow the ecosystem seems like a great plan. It could incentivise new projects to use OHM as well, increasing it's share of the market!
Check which network you're connected to in your wallet, for instance, you might be connected to Arbitrum, Binance chain, etc. click on it (usually at the top of your wallet) and switch to "Ethereum Mainnet"
OHM is designed as a reserve currency, with an emphasis on liquidity. NFTs are quite illiquid. If you'd like something like what you mentioned, you should check out PleasrDAO if you haven't already.
I'd love to see this happen. Once gas fees get lower in the future, I'd definitely put some money in for fun!
Olympus will become the central bank of DeFi.
People will be at the heart of it all.
