Summary: This is an actionable proposal to divert 30,000 DAI/Week (in OHM equivalent) to support the work done by all DAO members.
Abstract: The commitment and quality of work that the community has been able to generate in the recent weeks has been truly impressive. As a group we have been able to organize ourselves around projects and teams in the DAO. We are diligently working in all areas, from Operations and Engineering to Content, Marketing, Partnership and Policy. The amount of hours, meetings and work done in such short timeframe is mind blowing.
Proposal: We have evaluated several methods to distribute compensation among team members, with peer to peer review mechanism and team allocations. We are strong believers that such commitments should be compensated. We propose diverting 30k DAI a week, (paid in OHMs) to keep supporting the DAO.
How funds will be divided: All active members of the DAO will be invited to allocate funds to projects and teams. Everyone's allocations will be added up, and funds will be divided based on what portion each project or team received.
For example, Wartull may allocate 10% to Operations, 20% Engineering, 20% Content, 15% Marketing, 20% Partnerships and 15% to Policy. In contrast, Unbanksy may allocate 10% to Operations, 30% Engineering, 15% Content, 15% Marketing, 10% Partnerships and 20% to Policy. Everyone's response will be aggregated and used to determine the funding that each team receives.
We will do a similar exercise within teams, but allocating to individuals instead of projects. For example, JaLa may end up with 10% of allocations from the Policy team. If Policy received 15% of total funds, he would end up with 1.5% of that week's funding. We believe that this system will create the most fair and socially constructive distribution of resources.
Invitation: Any and all community members are invited to collaborate in the DAO in the current projects or to propose their own to be allocated to.
