Guys, I just need to come back to this again since I can' t stop thinking about it from the very morning. As I mentioned earlier almost 90% of ohmies are staking, so what are the motives behind this proposal, @Zeus could you please clarify? I am quite surprised how deeply I am touched by this topic... so why is it?
Because I would rather be the part of the community where others trust me as a responsible individual who can enjoy his freedom without hurting the other fellow members than the community where we integrate mutual suspicion into the code so that I neither of us might sell at free will. Why not to encourage and trust the better parts of our humanity, why expect the worse? I really do not need timelocks to behave responsibly. Do you?
And besides that... what do you think will produce more sell pressure? Staking without restrictions and penalties where anyone might just sell a little bit when he/she needs it (as I do) or waiting for the end of timelock and then sell larger amount (because in the next period it would not be possible again without being penalized)...?
OlympusDAO amazed me from the very beginning because of its simplicity, geniality, inner cohesion and most of all by the spirit of freedom to stake or sell anytime I want. That is the true quality of worldwide currency and OHM has it, right now, right here. I have experienced several defi project that started to loose when they applied restrictions to free flow of the capital, hence artificially increasing "utility" of their tokens. River that does not flow to the ocean becomes a stinky swamp, because it accumulates the dead water. Please ohmies, let's think about that for a while...
