I am definitely for and voted for, but my question is why this is not done on a protocol level instead of each individual staker? e.g. Olympus becomes a bank and has ultimate control of supply/price through minting, interest rates, lending reserve ratio etc. This will bring in extra earnings for the treasury which will be paid out to the stakers.
One of my biggest questions for Olympus is whether the protocol grows enough to be sustained in the long run. I fail to see the expansion of the MC beyond the size of the liquidity pools that get added to the protocol.
Not sure this is a feasible option as I imagine it would take a lot of work, but it could guarantee a faster market adoption, more earnings for the protocol and more control over price and supply.
