TL;DR (BLUF): I would like to see if there is interest in the OHMie community to support non-profits which are operated by fellow OHMies with the understanding the donations be kept within the OHMie community until the organization needs the funds?
Our non-profit recently began receiving donations in the form of crypto (ERC20 tokens) through the Endaoment platform. A member of that community asked if they made a donation to an organization if the organization would keep the donation within the crypto community by way of placing those funds in a yield bearing account. The intent of the donor was to be able to make a small donation but have a large impact while also continuing to advance the crypto space as a hole.
As an OHMie I knew just the place to honor this request. We did receive this donation and it is currently in (1,1) with a small part having been moved to (3,3). We are very small but operating cost are very high. This opportunity to receive a donation and be able to grow it is great for us, the donor, and in this case Olympus.
All that to ask, would the community have interest in supporting small non-profit orgs who are in need of funds but also active within the crypto space and more specifically Olympus? Certainly I would be grateful if the non-profit I work with is considered. For more information about Peaceful Pastures Ranch please visit the below links. I have also included the ETH wallet address for our non-profit so the community can validate the most recent donation is in fact (1,1)(3,3)'d
