Good Evening Degens, the name is Slick_iG and I would like to propose a real life event in order to bring mass education towards the great project of Olympus and celebrate the accomplishments that the team has been able to achieve and will achieve in the future.
From personal experience, belonging to a group has always made me happier and more complete then being alone. I have noticed that a lot of successful projects tend to project a sense of community in forms of getting together, getting to know who’s behind the username and showing your true self to others. “ The need to belong to a group also can lead to changes in behaviors, beliefs, and attitudes as people strive to conform to the standards and norms of the group. In social psychology, the need to belong is an intrinsic motivation to affiliate with others and be socially accepted”
We have seen Bitcoin and other famous projects grow to be what they are today by people getting together, discussing it in real world scenarios and having a good time building relationships and friendships.
Olympus has built a great team of engineers that have been working together to make this project as successful as possible and I believe it is time we incorporate it into real world experiences and show the rest of the world what it means to be part of the Olympus family.
I am proposing to host a first of its kind and hopefully many more in the future event where we celebrate our team members and show the world what they have accomplished and let the actual men and women behind this project come and speak on the behalf of the project and where they see us heading in the future.
We could host an event in a major city, rent out billboards to advertise this event, even charge a cover fee to cover some of our expenses(think btc conference in Miami). I’d love to hear your feedback and discussion on the funding for this event.
