Summary:
Put policy decision-making primarily on forum instead of snapshot, and grant the DAO the ability to make limited adjustments prior to the passage of a vote.
Background:
Our market is nascent and rapidly changing. Snapshot governance votes for every change is not scalable in such an environment.
Abstract:
Policy adjustments would happen as follows:
1) A proposal is put up on the forum.
2) Unless >10% of responses call for a vote, forum responses will be used to pass the proposal.
3) The proposal will be enacted 24 hours after it goes live.
4) Within 72 hours, anyone can call for a vote to repeal the changes.
The DAO can adjust the parameters in the 24 hours between 1 & 2, but by a maximum of 10% on any metric.
Motivation:
To allow us to capitalize on a rapidly changing market.
Additionally:
We would like to lower the BCV by 8-12% in 2-4% chunks to increase bondai capacity. The first For option is to approve this action.
For: Use this method to adjust policy; lower BCV.
For: Use this method to adjust policy; separate proposal to lower BCV.
Against: Hold snapshot votes for any changes in policy.
