Hi Turtleback - as mentioned during the AMA yesterday, we've received no pushback on the terms of the round and the $50M FDV from the suite of investors we've pitched to date; I would note that it's fairly conservative for an entire blockchain when compared to traditional standards (see seed raises for Fantom, Avax, etc) and gives us room to grow our valuation and liquidity in lockstep in a healthy fashion.

I would point to Curvance (https://forum.olympusdao.finance/d/1060-oip-81-curvance-seed-round) at a 68M FDV as a standalone protocol that might be used as a "price floor" for where we could have set our valuation.

SmokeyTheBera Thank you for the reply, let me start by saying that my question comes from a good place and I have no means to be negative towards you or the team.

Ohmies are in a difficult place now, and clearly valuation matters. While I wish everyone succeeds, we have to stay critical to valuations.

For example I could say I want to start a new business that becomes the next Amazon and stick a 1 billion valuation to it (Amazon is a trillion dollar company). That does not mean I will succeed or my valuation justifies the comparison.

I want best value for the money Olympus invests in given the risks.
