  • sOHM to gOHM - no rebase increase since transfer

A few months ago I changed over my sOHM, which was rebasing on schedule. I turned it into gOHM as per the Olympus DAO page. Ever since, my gOHM balance has not grown at all since. What do I do? Am I missing a step? The person who got me involved and held my hand through everything in the beginning is no longer available to guide me. Does anyone know how to fix this so my gOHM grows as my sOHM was. It's been a couple of months of zero growth. I must have lost loads of $ esp with the value down from $1350. Any assistance or guidance would be greatly appreciated!

(For Scammer Scumbags: Altho I am not as crypto savvy as others, I am not an idiot… for those who would like to use my lack of experience to pilfer my funds… I will not be taken advantage of. Troll someone else)

I'm quite new to this so I'm happy for someone to step in and prove me wrong, but my understanding is that gOHM does not increase in quantity, in increases in value. The value of gOHM is roughly (value of OHM) x (index), so currently one gOHM is worth 67.81 x 79.2 = $5370 (or thereabouts).

After the next rebase (assuming the price doesn't change) the value of one gOHM will be 67.81 x 79.3 = $5377 (or thereabouts). You gain value every rebase, rather than token quantity.

Unfortunately when the price drops considerably, this added value can be overlooked (or drowned out as the case may be!)
